OUR MISSION

We are dedicated to surety bail and pledge to fight for its continuation, growth and improvement within the state of Mississippi. In furtherance of this goal, we promise to:

Provide quality educational opportunities for those who wish to pursue bail agent licensure
Provide bail industry professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the responsibilities and challenges of their careers with professionalism, respect, integrity, dignity and excellence
Track legislative trends affecting the bail industry in order to serve as an advocate for member agents and agencies
Assist in improving conditions and regulations with the courts, public offices and law enforcement agencies that will better serve the industry
Establish and foster a feeling of trust and goodwill between the bail industry and public, local and state law enforcement agencies, local and state public offices, and civil and criminal judicial systems

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

I take my position as MCOBS' President very seriously. My primary mission in assuming this position is to strive towards making MCOBS a premier representative within the national bail industry.

My primary goals as President include:

Forging a strong partnership with our regulating agency: the Mississippi Insurance Department.
Representing all bail agents in Mississippi with the purpose of ensuring that the industry thrives in the future.
Providing the foremost pre-licensing and continuing education courses for bail agents in the state of Mississippi.
