MAKING A COMPLAINT

One of the principal duties of MCOBS is to investigate any violation of the law by bondsmen or bondsmen's employees. We have provided a form here for any member of the public to utilize to file a complaint against a member of the Mississippi bail industry.

Please make certain that you read and clearly understand all of the following before submitting a complaint to MCOBS:

MCOBS cannot initiate an investigation without the receipt of a sworn complaint.
This complaint becomes part of MCOBS proceedings and records and, as such, is confidential.
It is a crime for any person to willfully and knowingly file a false complaint.
It is a crime for any person to reveal the existence of this confidential complaint to anyone other than the representatives of MCOBS.
