Mississippi law requires that all agents holding a Professional Bail Soliciting and/or a Bail Enforcement License must earn at least 8 hours of continuing education credits each year in order to maintain the status of their license. Completion of our Online Continuing Education Class satisfies this requirement. This class is designed to present instructional content relevant to the everyday operation of a bail agency and correct procedures for executing bail bonds. Topics often include: - Gun safety and proper handling and use of a firearm - Proper handcuffing techniques - Proper surrender procedures - Professional conduct within jails - New bail laws and/or changes in current bail laws - Updates of new case law & court opinions and reviews of MID cases - Current trends and issues within the national bail industry
